Food Pantry Services

Clients may come weekly and select what they need for their size family, at no cost to them. Due to the pandemic, clients are not able to select food, instead they receive pre-packed boxes of food until we are able to resume in-person shopping.

We are located at 125 Mt. Hope St.

Hours
Saturdays 9 am - 11:30 am
Thursdays bulk pick-up and by appointment

Throughout the year, Dwelling House of Hope holds special events for members of the community

We celebrate

  • Mother’s Day with recognition and gifts for underprivileged mothers
  • Thanksgiving and Christmas with food and gift cards
  • Back-to-School with backpacks filled with school supplies to children returning to school
  • Family Hygiene Day where we give families personal hygiene items
  • Monthly Birthdays for our clients with special recognition to those who are 65 or older
  • Overdose Awareness with a March in August to fight back against the overdose epidemic with our community
  • Pastors in our community with a pastor's appreciation banquet to recognize their leadership

Thank you to Walmart for the donations. Volunteers from New Challenge program are always there to help with loading, off loading and putting the food away.

This weekend at Dwelling House of Hope, we distributed 147 boxes of food to families in need both through pick-up at our pantry and by delivery to those who have been quarantined.

Partnering with Lowell Community Health Center

Dwelling House of Hope is partnering with the Lowell Community Health Center to deliver food to those in need in our community who are unable to visit the pantry in person. We look forward to our continuing collaboration!
